Mary Adkins Huston was born about 1813 in Tennessee. She married John Nolan Ashurst in Menard County, Illinois on March 10, 1840. They had seven children.
She died September 21, 1861. According to family documents, she was the first person to be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery in Bath Township, Mason County, Illinois.
Mary Ashurst is my great-grandmother.
